Thank you for checking it out and actually finding this blog. I know there are many things on this site but over the two years of actively starting my media career, I’ve finally invested in creating the main site.

Previously, I’ve had a Linktree site, which is a navigation site that you can customize for redirecting websites and links. I had a Google Doc created in about 2016 or 2017 and later I created a Google Sites website for my visual work. I found that this year, I didn’t feel that this was the best way to showcase my work and the many things I do. It’s hard to navigate and organize everything, which is why I moved everything to SquareSpace.

On my site, you can find everything from previous work to the artists I manage, and personal projects to the creative services I provide. This investment into my website is one of the steps to level up in my organization for my career.

2020 has been quite a year. For future reference, 2020 was the COVID-19 global pandemic which created a complete lockdown at the end of March in Toronto and across the world. Before the pandemic, I was already working remotely, as in 2018, that’s when I started to take my creative work seriously and take it to a professional level. Since then, I would do everything from home since I have a laptop that can run the programs I need and the people I would work with were located in various parts of Toronto. In 2018, I was the executive producer and director of the record label Tempo Audio Productions. From that, I decided to manage and direct the label through Discord, an online messaging platform designed for instant messaging and digital distribution, mostly used by the gaming community. Working online and remotely has been something I’ve been doing for about two years, so the pandemic didn’t really shift the way I work.

This year, I really took the next step into my work with CONNECT Collective, many freelancing opportunities, and jobs, as well as working with UPN6XT Media and starting to work with the Diesel Collective. I want to mention that for many years my anxiety has held me back from many opportunities and I’d like to proudly say that this year I couldn’t allow that to happen, which is why I am in an amazing position of continuously developing within my career. 2021 is going to be major.

Aside from looking back at this year, I’m happy to announce the release of my website is a welcoming door and a great start to this new year. There’s going to be a lot of content on here such as tips, advice, what I’m working on, my own development, and much more to come!
